REST & RECOVERY AS A STRATEGY
Those who last — the ones who scale big, lead well, and stay healthy — treat recovery as a strategy, not a reward.
I want you to think of your performance like WAVES: You rise, you rest, you rise stronger.
That cycle isn’t weakness — it’s sustainability. It’s how you prevent breakdowns, avoid burnout, and keep yourself sharp at every stage of your growth. If you want longevity, you have to stop operating like a machine… and start operating like a leader who understands the power of rhythm. Resilience isn’t about how hard you can push. It’s about how quickly you can rise again.
Try this "3R Reset" exercise which takes 5 minutes and recalibrates your brain fast.
STEP 1 — RELEASE
Write down the top 3 things creating stress, friction, or mental noise right now.
Name them. Don’t judge them. Release them into your phone notes or onto paper. This act serves to rid yourself of that burden obstacle.
STEP 2 — REPLENISH
Circle ONE thing that would meaningfully restore you today:
- A conversation with someone who grounds you
- A new boundary you need to set
- A 20-minute walk or workout
- A silent break or meditation
Commit to doing it today, not “when things slow down.”
STEP 3 — RE-ENTER
Write one sentence that answers: “What version of me is now re-entering the workday?” Examples:
- I’m stepping back focused and composed
- I’m leading from clarity, not pressure
- I’m operating from strength, not speed
This is how you train your mind to recover fast, reset intentionally, and rise stronger. Onward!
